- Longs Drug Stores Corp. said that September same-store sales rose 3.2%. Pharmacy same-store sales rose 7.1% for the month, and front-end same-store sales increased 0.1%. Pharmacy sales amounted to 45.7% of total sales, up from 45.2% a year earlier.
