The Pittsburgh Business Times reports that the Crossroads c-store chain, operated by Guttman Enterprises, has merged with the 26-store Giant Eagle Inc. Both Guttman and Giant Eagle will own a stake in the new venture

Financial terms were not released.

Giant Eagle reportedly is planning to rename and expand the c-store chain; it already has 13 gas stations at supermarket locations.
