•  In Monday Night Football, the Dallas Cowboys defeated the New York Giants 23-16.

•  Food & Wine has a story about something many people may not have noticed about Thursday Night Football coverage on Amazon Prime Video - no beer commercials.

According to the story, there are no commercials for any alcoholic beverages, because "Amazon's official advertising guidelines for the United States prohibit the promotion of beer, wine, and spirits. 'Ad content must not encourage, glamorize or depict excessive consumption of alcohol,' the guidelines reportedly state."

That's leaving a lot of money on the table, Food & Wine writes, because "beer brands alone have reportedly spent over $40 million on commercials during other televised NFL games during the first two weeks of the season, an amount representing about 70 percent of their total TV spending during that period."
