Today's conversation is with Joe Blunda, who is working with Roche Bros. on a unique project - he actually has turned a large shipping container into a vertical farm that is providing greens to four of the retailer's stores. And here's the kicker: the vertical farm is located in the parking lot of a Roche Bros. store. Talk about local! (The technical term is Controlled Environment Agriculture.)
