I love talking to novelists.  Especially first-time novelists.  And I've found that people who come out of the military/intelligence community often make good storytellers - they know how to spin a yarn.

Which led me to Chad Bordeaux, author of "Scavenger Hunt," a thriller about terrorism that reeks with the kind of verisimilitude that could only come from someone who has worked for the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security.
