The MLB Wild Card series now are over - in each case, the winning teams swept their best-of-three series in two games, and now will move on to their League Divisional Series.
In the National League wild card games, the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Miami Marlins 7-1, and now will move on to play the Atlanta Braves; the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-2, and now will face the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In the American League wild card games, the Minnesota Twins beat the Toronto Blue Jays 2-0 and will move on to face the Houston Astros; the Texas Rangers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 7-1, and now will face the Baltimore Orioles.
