• Amazon says that it is converting more of its fulfillment centers so that they only use paper packaging that can be recycled in curbside programs - the goal being to eliminate plastic packaging. Published reports say one of the components of the shift is a kind of stretchable paper that is more pliable that regular paper but still is recyclable.
The move follows a successful test at an Ohio fulfillment center.
