Axios reports on a new Pew Research Center study saying that roughly one-third of US adults under the age of 30 regularly turn to TikTok for their news - a 255 percent increase in just three years.

According to the story, "TikTok's news consumption increase is taking place across all age demographics, not just younger Americans.

"Roughly half of Americans say they get some news from social media platforms," as LinkedIn, Twitch and Nextdoor also gain traction as news sources."

That's an Eye-Opener.
